You didn't even know I was going to Chicago? Well, neither did we. I got a vacation this week, and we had nothing planned. Friday night, we decided spur of the moment, - hey let's go to Chicago. We booked a hotel late Friday night, while frantically packing. And so, we left Saturday morning.
The view from our hotel at the Raffaello
We went to the Field Museum and saw Sue.
We walked down Navy Pier.
And viewed Chicago from the 94th floor of the Hancock Building at night. Which I cannot get Photobucket to put in vertically..... but you get the idea.....
And I did some yarn shopping at loopyyarns, and bought some Manos silk and some beautiful Koigu!
It was a nice trip, even if it was a spur of the moment decision!
